Falls County Demonstration
Agent Gives Achievement
Day Plans.
Mrs. Herbert Hoover, wife of the president, will speak during the final
15-minute period of the joint federal-state 4-H achievement day radio program
from 11:30 a. m. to 12:30 p. m. Saturday, states Miss Onah Jacks, Falls county
demonstration agent, who requests all club members to listen in on the
nationwide broadcast hookup.
Other features will be selection by the
United States marine band and addresses by R. A. Pearson, chairman of the
executive committee
of the association of land grant colleges and universities, from 11:30 to 11:45
a. m., and by C. W. Warburton, director of the department's extension work,
from 12:16 to 12:30 p.m.
In addition, from 11:446 a. m. to 12:15
p.m., there will be a state 4-H achievement day radio program organized by the
state extension service and presented through local farm and hour
stations.
